The way of a human on this Earth!

Our path on this Earth

Just placing few verses from the Qur’an for my benefit and for those who wish to read!

Let me be quite clear that the person who wants to believe can believe and who doesn’t want to believe may not do so. The choice is entirely on the person what he must accept and what he must not. So let’s not have any hard feelings on that.

‘To you is your belief and to me is mine’

This has been emphasized quite well in the Qur’an by our Maker and even by our Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) during his days on this earth.

‘O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you.And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted(with all things).

(Quran 49:13)

“Mankind was one single nation, and Allah sent Messengers with glad tidings and warnings; and with them He sent the Book in truth, to judge between people in matters wherein they differed; but the People of the Book, after the clear Signs came to them, did not differ among themselves, except through selfish contumacy. Allah by His Grace guided the believers to the Truth, concerning that wherein they differed. For Allah guided whom He wills to a path that is straight.”

(Quran 2:213)

“To you We sent the Scripture in truth, confirming the scripture that came before it, and guarding it in safety: so judge between them by what Allah hath revealed, and follow not their vain desires, diverging from the Truth that has come to you. To each among you we have prescribed a law and an open way. If Allah had so willed, He would have made you a single people, but (His plan is) to test you in what He has given you: so strive as in a race in all virtues. The goal of you all is to Allah. It is He that will show you the truth of the matters in which you dispute;

(Quran 5:48)

“There is no compulsion in religion. Verily, the Right Path has become distinct from the wrong path. Whoever disbelieves in taghoot (false gods) and believes in Allah, then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break.”

(Quran 2:256)

“Say: ‘O you mankind! Now truth (i.e. the Quran and the Prophet Muhammad), has come to you from your Lord. So whosoever receives guidance, he does so for the good of his own self; and whosoever goes astray, he does so to his own loss; and I am not (set) over you as a Wakeel (disposer of affairs to oblige you for guidance).’”

(Quran 10:108)

And follow what is revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and be patient until Allah will judge. And He is the best of judges.

(Quran 10:109)

“And say: ‘The truth is from your Lord.’ Then whosoever wills, let him believe; and whosoever wills, let him disbelieve.”

(Quran 18:29)

“If they strive to make you associate with Me that of which you have no knowledge, do not obey them but accompany them in the world with good conduct and follow the way of those who turn back to Me.”

(Quran 31:15)

“Allah had called you Muslims before this and has called you (by the same name) in this Quran, too.”

(Quran 22:78)

Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was a Muslim, sound in the faith.

(Quran 3:67).

And remember that when Abraham and Ishmael were raising the walls of this House, they prayed: Lord, make us Thy Muslims and also raise from our offspring a community which should be Muslim.

(Quran 2:128)

(The Prophet Jacob’s will for his children): O my children, Allah has chosen the same way of life for you, hence remain Muslims up to your last breath.

(Quran 2:132).

Say, “We have believed in Allah and in what was revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Descendants, and in what was given to Moses and Jesus and to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [submitting] to Him.”

(Quran 3:84)

And whoever desires other than Islam as religion – never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.

(Quran 3:85)

Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam. And those who were given the Scripture did not differ except after knowledge had come to them – out of jealous animosity between themselves. And whoever disbelieves in the verses of Allah, then indeed, Allah is swift in [taking] account.

(Quran 3:19)

(Iblis/Satan) said: “O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised.” (God) said: “Respite is granted thee till the Day of the Time appointed.” (Iblis) said: “O my Lord! Because Thou hast put me in the wrong, I will make (wrong) fair-seeming to them on the earth, and I will put them all in the wrong, Except Thy servants among them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace).” (God) said: “This (way of My sincere servants) is indeed a way that leads straight to Me. For over My servants no authority shalt thou have, except such as put themselves in the wrong and follow thee.”

(Quran 15:36–42)

And Satan will say when the matter is decided: “It was God Who gave you a promise of Truth: I too promised, but I failed in my promise to you. I had no authority over you except to call you but ye listened to me: then reproach not me, but reproach your own souls. I cannot listen to your cries, nor can ye listen to mine. I reject your former act in associating me with God. For wrong-doers there must be a grievous penalty.”

(Quran 14: 22)

“And do not insult those they invoke other than Allah , lest they insult Allah in enmity without knowledge. Thus We have made pleasing to every community their deeds. Then to their Lord is their return, and He will inform them about what they used to do.”

(Quran 6:108)

I understand there will be quite a contrast reactions about what has been mentioned here. But then, you’re free to believe it or not.

More so, those who do not believe, why must you fear about what is written here. Isn’t it?

May Allah guide us all to that what is right and true and that which will lead all of us on a straight path unto Him.
